The team at Amnesty International at York is getting all our petitions, swag gear and signs ready to kick off this exciting year! We have some exciting events and important campaigns planned for this season, and we can’t wait to have you join us as we continue to fight for the protection of human rights.

YU Divest

One of the highlights of our year was the YU Divest rally in Vari Hall and Central Square. YU Divest is a coalition of groups from the York community who are calling on York University’s Board of Governors to divest from arms manufacturers. We are thrilled to continue our endorsement of YU Divest as well as our continued collaborative events for this upcoming year. (Hint: Save the date for October 4th!)
